Mummas in Mind Activities & Outreach
There’s no one way to be a mum, so there’s no one way to find your way into the Mummas in Mind community either. Our outreach activities are designed to give mums different opportunities to connect, get support, learn something new, take a bit of time for themselves and, most importantly, find somewhere they feel they belong. Some activities are regular, some run for a set number of weeks and others will pop up throughout the year. Take a look at what’s coming up and find something that feels right for you.
🌿 Mummas in Mind Walking Group
Frimley Green Postnatal Wellbeing Walking Group
Every Wednesday | 9.30am | Meeting at Frimley Green Recreation Ground Carpark
Our walking group has been bringing local mums together since September 2020.
We meet for a gentle 40–45 minute walk before heading for a cuppa and a chat afterwards. Babies and little ones are very welcome and there’s absolutely no pressure to keep up, walk at a certain pace or even talk if you’re not feeling particularly chatty!
The focus is on the walking rather than the talking. Conversations happen naturally as we walk alongside each other – and somehow, over time, strangers become familiar faces and familiar faces become friends.
Whether you’ve been coming for years or you’re feeling a little nervous about coming for the first time, you’re very welcome.
How to join:
The walking group is free to attend. Pop us a message via our contact page to join our WhatsApp group to let us know you’re coming and receive the weekly updates.

🌸 Mummas in Mind Postnatal Groups
Six weeks of support, connection and time for you
Our Mummas in Mind Postnatal Group course is a small, supportive six-week group for mums with babies in the early months.
And although the babies are very welcome, this isn't another baby group.
This is time for you.
A chance to talk about how you’re really doing, connect with other mums, explore your wellbeing and have conversations that go beyond feeding, sleeping and nappies.
Sessions include a mixture of conversation, mindfulness and wellbeing activities, guest speakers and opportunities to share experiences with other mums who understand the ups and downs of this stage of motherhood.
Groups are intentionally small so that there’s space for everyone to get to know each other and feel comfortable being themselves.
How to book:
New groups are advertised throughout the year. Places are limited, so booking in advance is recommended.

☕ Mindful Mummas Mornings
Coming January 2027
A relaxed, welcoming space for mums to drop in, connect and take a breath.
Mummas in Mind Mornings are being created as a more flexible way to access the MiM community. You might come along because you fancy joining an activity, want to meet some other mums, need a bit of support or simply need to get out of the house.
There will be different activities, conversations, guest practitioners and opportunities to access support and information – with plenty of time for a cuppa and a chat too.
You can come on your own. You can bring your baby. You can stay for the whole morning or just pop in for a while.
No course to commit to. No expectation to participate in everything. Just come as you are.
How to book:
Details of dates, activities and booking will be added here ahead of the January 2027 launch.

What's coming next?
Mummas in Mind is growing.
Alongside our regular groups and activities, we’re developing a programme of workshops and short courses around some of the things mums tell us they need more support with.
These are some of the ideas currently in the pipeline.
Dates and booking information will be added as they are confirmed.
🌬️ Reducing & Releasing Stress Through Breathwork
Life as a mum can feel like one long list of things to remember, organise, manage and worry about.
This workshop will explore simple, practical breathwork techniques that can help you slow things down, settle your nervous system and create a little more space when life feels a lot.
Nothing complicated. No previous experience needed. Just some time to pause, breathe and learn a few tools you can take away and use in everyday life.
Coming soon.
🧠 Your Postpartum, Your Way
Preparing for the early days of motherhood as a neurodivergent mum
We know that the transition into motherhood can feel particularly challenging for neurodivergent women.
The sensory changes, unpredictability, lack of routine, sleep deprivation, feeding decisions, endless new information and pressure to adapt to a completely new way of life can all feel like a LOT.
This workshop will focus on preparing for the mother, not just the baby.
We'll explore practical ways to think ahead about sensory needs, routines, support, communication, overwhelm and recovery, helping you to consider what you might need to feel safe, supported and more like yourself during those early weeks and months.
This isn't about creating the perfect postpartum plan. It's about understanding yourself, thinking about what might help and putting some support in place before you need it.
Coming soon.
More ideas are coming...
The MiM programme will continue to grow alongside the needs of the mums in our community.
We're exploring workshops and short courses around:
Maternal wellbeing and self-care
Understanding and managing overwhelm
Confidence and identity after becoming a mum
Returning to work and finding your new balance
Building your support network
Mindfulness and relaxation
Neurodivergence and motherhood
And whatever else our mums tell us they need!
